The 10th edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” organized by the International Association “Euro Foto Art” offered the opportunity to organize in Tîrgu Mureș personal exhibitions of the photographer Ștefan TÓTH István AFIAP, ESFIAP. The jubilee exhibition entitled "Surprised Moments" / "Tetten ért pillanatok" was first presented on August 9, 2021 in the Synagogue "Sion" in Oradea on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the life and 50 years of artistic activity of the famous artist photographer from Oradea. The jubilee exhibition will be presented in the Gallery of Bernády György House in Tîrgu Mureș and after it was opened in the “Euro Foto Art” Gallery, FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania (August 2021), FIAP Exhibition Center Uzhhorod - Ukraine (October 2021), Gallery of the Hungarian Association of Photographers in Budapest (October 2021), and the Knight's Hall of the "Károlyi" Castle in Carei (November 2021) and in the Gallery of the House of Culture "Nadány Zoltán" in Beretyóújfalu (HU), on January 21, 2022. With this On this occasion, a selection of 40 black and white and color photographs will be exhibited, made by the Oradean photographer Ștefan TÓTH István AFIAP, ESFIAP in the 50 years of artistic activity, in the three stages of photography development (analog, digital and smart phones). The photographer was born on 08.09.1951, in Tăuteu (Romania), flirted with photography from an early age (1964) and specialized in photographic art in self-taught form. He started as a photographer in 1973 with the work "Fighting with time", which was exhibited in the Dalles Hall in Bucharest, at the International Salon of Romania, organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP. In 1973 he became a member of the Romanian Association of Photographic Artists (of which he was president from 2007 to 2012), and in 1978 he became an artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art, respectively in the year he received the ESFIAP distinction. ”Nufărul” Oradea, respectively the President of the International Association “Euro Foto Art” since 2008, the only FIAP Regional Member in the world. most of the objects exhibited in a total inventory value of 20,000 euros In 2019 he became director of the FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania (the 17th in the world). From his works, 92 personal exhibitions and 57 main group exhibitions were organized, he participated in 53 national and international juries, he was declared a member and honorary advisor of over 20 Photographic Societies around the world. Since 2016, he has been the Vice President for Overseas Organizations of the Hungarian Photoclub Association (Hungarian Operational Member of FIAP). For 45 years I have been the lecturer of over 200 international courses of technique and photographic art, organized within the “Euro Photo Art” Academy Oradea which was graduated by over 2,000 photography lovers from several countries in Canada, R. Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, USA, Ukraine and Hungary. The opening ceremony of the exhibition organized by Bernády György House in partnership with the “Marx József” Photo Club Tîrgu Mureș in the locality took place on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, local time 17:00 in the presence of the author of his wife and a large audience, including and the photographer Bot Gyula EFIAP, the president of the “Marx József” Photo Club Tîrgu Mureș. The exhibition was opened by the renowned photographer Bálint Zsigmond from Târgu Mureș. During the opening, the exhibiting photographer took the floor, praising his collaboration with the Photoclub from Târgu Mureș and presenting the exhibited works. The musical moments were provided by the artist Thúrzó Sándor József, the representative of the Chamber Group "Duo Vardiensis" from Oradea, who will perform several songs from the international repertoire: "Gavotte und Double" for solo viola by Charlotte Hampe, "Winter Landscape in Japan" by Watanabe Shigebu “Hidden Creek” (Búvópatak) by Lászlóffy Zsolt (in the first audition in Târgu Mureș), “Celebrating the New Spring” by Mao Yuan and the song “Din drâmboaie” by Hilda Jerea. The songs were transcribed for rape by Thurzó (Sándor József). The 10th edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” organized by the International Association “Euro Foto Art” as well as the Hungarian
Culture Day offered the opportunity to open in the neighboring county two personal exhibitions of the photographer artist Ștefan TÓTH István AFIAP, ESFIAP. The first exhibition opened at the
"Nadány Zoltán" House of Culture in Beretyóújfalu on Friday night, and the second on Saturday evening at the "Partium" House in Debrecen. The first personal exhibition entitled "Surprised
Moments" / "Tetten ért pillanatok" was opened on Friday, January 20, 2022, local time 17:00 in the Bihor Region Gallery of the House of Culture "Nadány Zoltán" in Beretyóújfalu, in the presence
of the author, his wife and of a large audience. Among those present was a delegation of guests from Marghita Municipality. The audience at the event was greeted by the director of the
institution Lisztes Éva, who appreciated the good cultural relations between the exhibiting photographer and the institution he has been running for over 3 decades. The exhibition, consisting of
a selection of 29 large photographs, was opened by the retired director of the Porkoláb Lajos House of Culture, who emphasized in his speech the artistic and organizational merits of the
celebrated photographer. The jubilee exhibition was first presented on August 9, 2021 in the “Sion” Synagogue in Oradea on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the well-known Oradea

PHOTOGRAPHY ARTIST
The 7th edition of the ”Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, International Photography Festival, organized by the Euro Foto Art International Association, has offered the opportunity to the well-known artist-dr. Teodor Radu Pantea EFIAPs to open his retrospective personal exhibition with 40 images. The opening took place on Thursday, the 31st of January 2019. The public was saluted by Felician Săteanu, representing the ”Petre Dulfu” regional Library of Baia Mare and also member of the Euro Foto Art International Association. Tóth Stefan AFIAP, the president of the EFA and the manager of the Carol Pop de Szathmári International Photography Festival, appreciated the high artisical level of the exposed images. During the exhibition, the "Mirror of memories" album including the 40 years in photography of dr. Teodor Radu Pantea was presented. The album was edited by Ovi D. Pop's Duran's ltd. THE COMMEMORATION OF THE VICTIMS OF HOLOCAUST
The Euro Foto Art International Association in partnership with the Protection of Historical Monuments Foundation from Bihor region and with the Jewish Community from Oradea have organized the "Auschwitz-A place of silence" exhibition during the 7th edition of the „Carol Pop de Szathmári – Szathmári Pap Károly” photography festival. The new exhibition including 45 monochrome images taken by the well-known artist, dr. Teodor Radu Pantea EFIAPs is dedicated to the international day of commemoration of the victims of holocaust. The images were taken in Auschwitz and Birkenau in 2004, presenting these places like empty, dead spaces, not appropriate for living which keep the atmosphere of the terror that took place in there. The opening was on Sunday, the 27th of January 2019, at 16.00 hours at the Sion Neolog Synagogue. The public was saluted by Stefan Tóth István AFIAP, the president of the Euro Foto Art International Association and by Mr. Andrei Saidler, the manager of the Jewish Communitarian Center from Oradea. The author and also dr. Ramona Novicov, art critic, presented the exposed images. The musical moments were offered by Alexandrina Chelu (voice) and Florian Chelu (guitar). The exhibition will be opened to the public until the 26th of February 2019 from Tuesday until Sunday, between 9.00 and 17.00 hours. The launch of the “Carol Pop de Szathmári – Szathmári Pap Károly” International Festival
In a friendly environment, on the 11th of January 2017, at the FUGA Budapest Center of Architecture, the official opening of the 5th edition of “Carol Pop de Szathmari – Szathmari Pap Karoly” International Photography Festival took place. The festival is organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, with support from the Ministry of Culture. A large number of photographers and photography fans took part at this event, from different cities of Hungary and Romania. The public was greeted by Mr. Nagy Balint – director of programs and Ștefan Toth AFIAP – president of the festival and director of “Euro Foto Art”. They have discussed about the importance of this event in promoting European photographic art and have detailed the program of the Festival. His Excellency, Marius Lazurca – the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania in Hungary was invited to hold a speech by Mr. Gabriel Kohn (ministerial advisor). The Ambassador lauded the initiative of organizing such an event and that Romania’s Photography Day is also celebrated in the capital of Hungary. Following the Ambassador, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radu Igazsag evoked the personality of Carol Pop de Szathmari – Szathmari Pap Karoly, followed by the presentation of a documentary titled “A painter at the dawn of Photography”, made by the Hungarian department of the Romanian National Television. Also during the events, Mrs. Eva Keleti was awarded a lifetime achievement medal for her work in photography. She was praised by Klara Szarka, a photography historian. During the event, several photography exhibitions could be visited, such as original and digitalized works by Carol Pop de Szathmari – Szathmari Pap Karoly. The original photos were provided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radu Igazsag. Other exhibitions that could be visited were the “Euro Foto Art Partners” exhibition, Dr. Igazsag’s personal exhibition titled “Kodak Camera 1914” and also by Janos Eifert EFIAP. At the closing of the vent, the curator and photography historian Karoly Kincses talked about her impressions about photography and photographic art, as well as giving feedback on the portfolios of those present.

“Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” in Cernăuţi (UA)
The “Euro Foto Art” Association has started three years ago the International Photography Contest “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”. The launch of the Festival is related to the birth date of the world’s first war photo reporter (11 January). This day has been declared, through Government Order nr. 458/0505.2010, to be The Photographic Art Day in Romania. The purpose of the international festival is to bring to the European and the world’s public opinion the special personality of the first Romanian photographer, his works as well as to organize various exhibitions in this celebratory spirit. For each edition of the festival, the “Euro Foto Art” Association invites photographers from a European country. The guests of honor of the 3rd edition of the festival, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Romania, have been the photographers of Ukraine. In this context, the official launch of this edition took place on January 10 2015 at 12 o’clock at the Ujgorod Fortress. With this occasion, an exhibition made up of digitalized photographs of Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly, belonging to the collection of dr. Radu Igazság from Bucharest, has been presented. During the 3rd edition of the Festival, 35 exhibitions and documentary presentations have taken place in 16 towns from Romania, as well as in galleries from Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine. The closing festivity of the International Festival took place on Tuesday February 10 2015 at 16:00, in the Art Museum from Cernăuţi (Ukraine). The photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP – director of the „Euro Foto Art” Association and the director of the festival was present. The public that came at the event was greeted by miss Valentina Lubkivsca, the diretor of the Art Museum from Cernăuţi, who lauded the good connections with the „Euro Foto Art” Association which led to the organizing of this exhibition and other events. The general Consul of Romania has appreciated the importance of the connection between photographers from Romania and Ukraine and has praised the activities started by Ştefan Toth AFIAP, the president of the well-known European Association, who has traveled to Cernăuţi on many ocasions to honor with his presence the events that have been organized. The art critic Albert Komari has underlined in his speech the special scale of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” and the joy of organizing the closing ceremonies in Cernăuţi. Hochman appreciated the level of the events organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association and thanked the collaborators of the European Cultural Organization for their efforts. The vice president of the “Pozitiv” Photo Club from Cernăuţi, the photographer Taras Perun thanked Ştefan Toth AFIAP for the effort made for strengthening the relationships between Romanian and Ukrainian photographers. At the end of the festivity, Ştefan Toth AFIAP took the stage to thank the management of the Art Museum for the way in which they support the „Euro Foto Art” Association initiatives and has mentioned that „although your country is in a special situation, I have traveled 500 km to bring you joy through this exhibition”. During the festivity, the opening of the VI International “Eurofotoart” Salon will take place. The Salon is organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture from Romania. During the exhibition, 45 color and black & white large photographs will be presented, out of the total 96 accepted and awarded by the international jury. A total of 2429 photos have been submitted. The photographs have been made in various parts of Europe by artists from the “old continent” and others. The exhibition is organized in partnership with the Cernăuţi Art Museum, under the patronage of the Photographer Artists’ Association from Ukraine. It will be opened for visiting for two weeks.
The opening of the International „Euro Foto Art” Salon in Suceava.
The 3rd edition of the International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” organized by the „Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, has made it possible to open an European Photography Salon in Suceava. In the downstairs hallway of the Center for Supporting Traditions in Bucovina, on University street 48, 96 easels with photographs that have been accepted and rewarded in the 6th edition of the International “Euro Foto Art” Salon organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture from Romania. The color and black and white photographs have been selected by an international jury, out of the 2429 images sent for the salon. The photographs that were exposed have been made in various parts of Europe by photographers from the “old continent” and others. The debut of the exhibition took place on Tuesday, February 9 2015 at 12 o’clock in front of the manager of the “Bucovina” Cultural Center – Viorel Varvaroi, the director of the Center for Supporting Traditions in Bucovina – Vasile Ilie and the director of the Suceava Preserving and Promoting Traditional Culture centre – the photographer Victor T. Rusu. Also participating at the event was Mr. Ion Băiţan, the director of the Art School "Ion Irimescu", along with staff from the “Bucovina” Cultural Centre from Suceava. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP-photographer, took part in the event as well. He is the director of the “Euro Foto Art” Association and the director of the International Festival. He awarded the director of the Suceava Preserving and Promoting Traditional Culture centre - Victor T. Rusu with the Festival placket as a token of appreciation for the support given in organizing the exhibition. The honor guests of the exhibition were the photographers Vasile Paladean from Cernăuţi (Ukraine) – member of “Euro Foto Art” Association and Nicolai Hauca, member of the “Pozitiv” photo club from Cernăuţi. The exhibition is organized under the patronage of the Suceava Local Council and will remain open for the public for a month.
The debut of the International photography Salon
in “Cukráren Samba” in Nove Zamky (SL)
During the 3rd Edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, with the help of partner associations, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture from Romania, an exhibition was organized in Cukráreň Samba” in Nove Zamky. The photographs that went on display were selected from the awarded works during the XIV International Photography Exhibition of Hungarian Photographers. The organizer of the exhibition was Tamas Thor, the secretary of the “Helios” Photo club from Komarno and the artistic leader of “Artcosro”. The opening of the exhibition took place on Wednesday 4 February 2015, in the presence of a numerous photography loving crowd. The public was greeted by Tamas Thor, who manifested his joy of presenting an international exhibition of this kind in the Gallery. Teodor Nagy, the president of the “Helios” Photo club presented the Salon that wanted to showcase the works of Hungarian photographers from the European Union. The exhibition will go on a tour, with openings being planned for the Dunajska Streda, Levice, Nesvady and Sturovo galleries. For the XIV edition of the international Salon, there have been over 1500 photographs sent, made by artists from Israel, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. The exhibition will be available to the public until the 3rd of March, 2015.
The “Dialogue…” photographic exhibition at the Olt County Library “Ion Minulescu” – Slatina
On 10 February 2015, the photographic exhibition “Dialogue…” had its debut in the ~Nicolae Truță” exhibition hall of the Ion Minulescu Library. The event is part of the 3rd edition of the International Photographic Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition was organized by the County Centre for Preserving and Promoting Culture Olt, in partnership with “Euro Foto Art” Association and “Alutus” Photo Club. The works presented were made by photographers from the “Nufărul” photo club from Oradea, coordinated by Ștefan Toth. The exhibition was presented in other galleries from across the country (Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Galați, Târgu Mureș) but also abroad (China – Shenzen, Poland – Krosno, Slovakia – Kosice, Ukraine – Ujgorod and Hungary – Debrecen). Along photography lovers, two groups of school children, (one coordinated by prof. Dan Iancu – photographer, and another group from the National College “Ion MInulescu” – involved in an international project involving images) were also present at the exhibition. Florin Dumitrescu – the director of the County Centre for Preserving and Promoting Culture and Florin Cârstea – the director of the County Library, took part in the exhibition. The name of the event had a deeper meaning. If last year we started the inter-regional workshops through which we wanted to start a dialogue between the Oltenia-Ardeal and Moldavia-Banat regions as well as other areas, this time we will try to take it to another level, based on our possibilities and the manifested interest. This exhibition has a similar purpose, that of creating bridges and strong connections through photography. The opening of the International Exhibition in Alesd (RO)
The International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” (registered trademakr at OSIM – State Office for Inventions and Trademarks), organized by the „Euro Foto Art” Association, offered the possibility of organizing an international photography exhibition in Aleşd, on the 30th January 2015. The event took place on the penultimate day of January, at 5 pm, in the Gallery of the “Octavian Goga” Library from Aleşd, in front of many people. The public was greeted by Miss Ardelean Georgeta, representing the Library, who underlined the fact that this time in the exhibited photographs the villages of the European Union are shown. After this, Mr. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, the president of the “Euro Foto Art” Association and director of the International Festival, talked about the context in which the ideea of organizing the International Photographer’s Salon for Romanian and Hungarian artists from across the world was first born. In this context, he presented the catalogue of the first edition of the festival, in which the work of Létai Zoltán, photographer and vice-mayor of Aleşd is shown. At the ending, the vice-mayor was thankful that the “Euro Foto Art” Association brought to Aleşda new exhibition of photography and for the musical moments offered by Ioana Vencel and Mariana Vlad, students in the 8th grade of the „Constantin Şerban” High school from Aleşd. All those who are interested in photography can enjoy the exhibition, organized under the patronage of the Aleşd City Hall and with the support of Miss Ioana Achim. It will be opened for the public until 20th February 2015, and access is free.
The lifetime achievement award given to
Boldîr Victor EFIAP - Craiova (RO)
The international photography festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” (OSIM registered trademark), organized by the ”Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, offers yearly the possibility of giving special distinctions to exceptional photographers, as a sign of appreciation and acknowledgement for their lifetime achievements in the field of photography. The curator of the “Euro Foto Art” Association has decided to award this title to the famous photographer Boldîr Victor EFIAP from Craiova, who has recently passed away. The „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” (OSIM-registered trade mark) gold medal number 5, along with its Certificate will be given to mr. Boldîr’s wife by Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, the president of the “Euro Foto Art” Association, in Craiova, on the 19th of March 2015, with the occasion of organizing the exhibition titled “In memoriam Victor Boldîr EFIAP”
Croatian Exhibition in Galaţi (RO)
The International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, held by the „Euro Foto Art” Association, has offered the possibility of organizing in Galaţia representative exhibition of the works of Croatian photographers. The exhibition was made possible in partnership with the Cultural Center and the “Dunărea de Jos” Photo club from Galaţi, under the patronage of the Local Council. The exhibition is made up of 100 black and white as well as color photographs made by the 30 artists belonging to the “Osijek” Photo club from Croatia (partner organization of the “Euro Foto Art” Association). The opening of the exhibition took place on Monday 26th January 2015 at 5 p.m. in front of a numerous public. Nicolae Sburlan, the president of the “Dunărea de Jos” Photo club from Galaţi, talked about the important role that Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly played in promoting the photographic art in Romania and about the exhibitet photographs. Musical moments were ofered by a young and talented student from Galaţi, that played the piano. The exhibition will remain open for the interested public until February 5th 2015. Access is free
Exhibition in Békéscsaba on the Hungarian Culture Day
In the hallway of the Békés Library from Békéscsaba County, on Thursday January 22nd 2015 at 1 p.m., during the manifestations dedicated to the Hungarian Culture Days, the opening of the IX edition of the ’’International Salon of Romanian and Hungarian photographers from across the world” took place. Along a numerous public, Adela Rusu AFIAP and Ovi D. Pop from the “Nufărul” Photo Club from Oradea participated as well. Debreceni Kiss Helga from the „Bartók Béla” High School presented a few traditional Hungarian melodies, played on the zither. Two pairs from the Csaba Band for folk dances, made up of Szabó Alexandra, Zsíros Evelin, Szűcs Attila and Ökrös Daniel presented a few Romanian and Hungarian folk dances from Transylvania. After the two cultural moments, the public was greeted by Miss Rakonczás Szilvia, the director of the County Library. She underlined the importance of the exhibit, which took place during the manifestations dedicated to the Hungarian Culture Day. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, the director of the International Festival pointed out that this exhibit takes place during the 3rd edition of the International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. He presented the context in which the IX edition of the International Salon was organized and thanked the management of the Library and the director for the exceptional conditions offered for presenting this event in Békéscsaba. Mr. Toth’s also thanked for the fact that this international exhibition will be presented in other public libraries from Békés County. The event ended after the second part of the folk dances presented by the two pairs of dancers.
Life Merit Award for Viorel Simionescu EFIAP (Bucharest)
International Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmari- Szathmari Pap Karoly”, organized by “Euro Foto Art” Association under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, offers yearly grant Merit Awards for life activity. As a recognition for lifetime activities in the service of photography art in Romania and not only, the “Euro Foto Art” curators decided this year to offer the Life Merit Medal “Carol Pop de Szathmari - Szathmari Pap Karoly” number 4 to photographer artist Viorel Simionescu EFIAP of Bucharest. The medal was handed over at the photographer’s home on Photographic Art Day by University Professor dr. Igazsag Radu, member of the Euro Foto Art Association curatory. The photographer artist was born June 23rd 1937 and began photographing in 1959. In the year 1965 he becomes a member of the Photography Artists Association (AAF), being to this day the longest living Romanian photographer. In 1973 he became a member in the Chairman Committee, having been elected President of the Youth Photography Committee. In 1976, he is awarded the distinction of artist in the International Federation of Photographic Art (AFIAP) and in 1988 he is awarded EFIAP. He participated as an AAF representative at the FIAP Congress in Spain (Barcelona 1979) and Denmark (Elsinor 1981) as well as at the international FIAP Photography for Youth seminars in Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Yugoslavia, Germany and Romania (1977-1989). He was also a permanent member in the world committee for Photography for Youth by FIAP. With his pictures, he participated in hundreds of international exhibitions and was awarded hundreds of times. In the 1981 he obtained the FIAP gold medal in Argentina and the same at the 12th edition of the International Romanian Salon. He published over 2000 images in albums and relevant Romanian publications. Not in the least, he published his personal album intitled “The Bucharests near Bucharest”. Retrospective „Ovi D. Pop”
In a familiar environment, at "Kosher Art Gallery" from Oradea (Crinului Street), on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 18:00, took place the varnishing of the personal exhibition "Retrospective Ovi D. Pop" in the presence of the author and a large number of photographic art lovers. The exhibition is held within the third edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop of Szathmári-Szathmári Pap Károly" (a trademark registered OSIM), and it is organized by "Euro Photo Art" Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition includes a selection of 30 black and white and colored photographs, taken by the famous photographer from Oradea, member of the Photographic Club "Water Lily" (“Nufărul”), during the last two years. The exhibited photographs were subject to a number of national and international exhibitions of photography art and rewarded with dozens of awards, medals and mentions. The exhibited works were presented with a particularly sensitivity by Vesa Aursulesei, who appreciated their originality. These photos are engaging the viewer into a dialogue. The photographer Stefan Toth AFIAP, president of the Association "Euro Photo Art" and Photographic Club "Water Lily" (Nufărul) expressed his satisfaction for the fact that he was agreed to mentor the exhibitor artist photographer, who skillfully applied his advice. The photographer thanked the three "muse ladies" for organizing the personal exhibition and for making possible to reach such artistic level in a short time. The musical moments were provided by artists Alexandrina Chelu and Florian Chelu, and the exhibition was officially opened by Andrei Sella, gallery director. The exhibition organized by "Euro Photo Art" Association in partnership with the Jewish Community of Oradea and JCC Oradea will remain available to the public for a month, to which entry is free.
Inauguration of the International Festival of Photography
„Carol Pop of Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”
Saturday, January 10, 2015, 12:00 o’clock, at the Gallery of the City of Ujhgorod (UA), took place the inauguration of the third edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly". The festival is organized by "Euro Photo Art" under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and it includes over 30 exhibitions and film screenings conducted in Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine and Hungary. The guests of honor at this year’s edition were the photography artists from Ukraine. The launching ceremony was attended by Mrs. Consul Judit Bőcs from the General Consulate of Hungary in Uzhhorod, who appreciated the idea of organizing the International Festival. The President of the Photography Artists of Transcarpatia Association, with headquarters in Ujhgorod, Mr. Norba Volodimir, stressed the importance of the partnership with the Association "Euro Photo Art", which allowed the organization of the digital photo exhibition consisting of works by renowned photographer Carol Pop of Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly. The photographer Stefan Tóth AFIAP, president of the "Euro photo Art" Association and the director of the international festival, also present at the event, thanked the leadership of the City of Uzhgorod and the Photography Artists Association of Transcarpatia for the conditions under which the launching ceremony of the international festival was held and for organizing the exhibition. Afterwards he handed over the Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly plague and a diploma of merit to Norba Volodimir. After the ceremony, in the conference hall of Hotel "Druzba" was held the presentation of the documentary film about Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly made by the Hungarian editorial from the Romanian Television. At the events from Ukraine participated also the photography artists Adela Rusu AFIAP and Ovi D.Pop, members of the Photographic Club "Water Lily" („Nufărul”) from Oradea.

International Photography Festival Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári offered the opportunity to present the documentary film about the first war photographer in the world. After the success enjoyed by film presentation entitled "A painter at the dawn of photography" by Hungarian editorial of TVR at the launch of the International Festival at the Institute Balassi - Hungarian Institute from Bucharest the film was shown in several countries. So Sunday 9 February 2014 in the Great Hall of the Reformed Church San Fernado Valley Reseda in Los Angeles California (U.S.), 18858 Erwin St, Reseda, in the presence of a large audience was shown the film made by TVR. The audience present at the event was welcomed by His Holiness Jakabfyy Zsolt priest and Paul Bock talked about the life of photographer Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári, a member of the "Euro Photo Art" Association. The documentary was presented with great success in the presence of a large audience and Hungarian Casino of the Sydney - Australia, Chernovtsy (Ukraine), Iasi (Romania) and Chisinau (Republic of Moldova).
International Exhibitionin Targoviste
The Museum of History from the Royal Court Museum Complex is hosting from February 17, 2014 an international photography exhibition, organized by the" Euro Photo Art" in partnership with the photographer from Targoviste. The elegant cymas of Museum were installed 95 black and white photographs and color accepted and awarded in the fifth edition of the "EuroFotoArt" International Exhibition. Because of bad weather that swept over this region of the country, the exhibition has been postponed to 14 February 2014. At the opening was attended a large number of photographers and photography lovers in the region from city of Targoviste. The audience present at the event was welcomed by Photographers Group President from Targoviste, photographer Ion Marculescu, who in his speech appreciated the relationship between organization headed by him and the "Euro Photo Art", which allowed the opening of this exhibition. Also a former president praised the contribution AAFR Stephen Tóth AFIAP for Photographic Art Day formalization year Romania. Exhibition organized in the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap" will remain available to the visitors for a month.

Free International University of Moldova (FIUM) took place Monday, February 10, 2014, at 12:00, in the presence of a large number of students and teachers, the closing ceremony of the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap. The audience was welcomed by Phd.prof. TAU Ambassador Nicholas, Vicerector - International Relations, who appreciated the initiative of organizing the closing ceremony of the International Festival in Chisinau, with inauguration of photo exhibition 'Impressions of China "artwork made up of photographer Stefan Toth AFIAP. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotenţial's of Republic of China in the Republic of Moldova, HE Tong Mingtao appreciated quality of the photos displayed and congratulated photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP for having traveled four times to China to make these pictures special. Poiată Anataol photographer Photographers Artists Union of the Moldova Chairman thanked for the opportunity given to the second edition of the International Festival of the present work UAFM members in Bucharest, Oradea and Iasi. AFIAP photographer Stephen Toth, director of the International Festival has thanks for the opportunity given to organize the closing ceremony of the festival and organizing international photo exhibition "Impressions of the China" in Chisinau, then handed Drei. Ma Linjuan, director of the Confucius Institute ULIM the plaquette festival, which officially closed after the second edition of the festival. Finally dignitaries were invited to a Chinese tea tasting. The exhibition includes a selection of 35 color photographs made in four different regions of China. Confucius Institute at the request of the ULIM Chisinau, the exhibition was donated by the author of the exhibition, photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP under free.
Special Events in Iasi
Amphitheatre Hall of the House of Culture Iasi City was filled to capacity on the evening of Saturday, February 8, 2014. In the presence of over 100 photographers and photography lovers attended the exhibition members of the Union of Art Photographers from Moldova (UAFM), which in the second edition of the International Festival of Photography Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap was opened and in Bucharest and Oradea. The event was attended photographer Anatol Poiată Chisinau, President of UAFM and Stephen Tóth AFIAP from Oradea, Festival Director. The audience present at the opening was welcomed by Mr. Ady Cristi director of Culture of Iaşi, who appreciated the importance of the festival and the joy of having such photography personalities in Iasi from Romania and the Republic of Moldavia Documentation. Photographer Anatol Poiată expressed his joy to be present in Iasi, respectively as guest of honor of the International Festival of Photography and thanked to Photographer Club management for their help in installing the exhibition of artist photographers from Chernovtsy in Iasi. Still photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP spoke about festival and thanked to the Hose of Culture director for the conditions offered to organize this events in Iaşi and handed over the representative the International Festival plaque. As a sign of gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation envisaged a plaque was awarded to photographer and artist Anatol Poiată from Chisinau. Finally was presented and followed with great interest the TVR editorial film documentary about the first Hungarian world war photographer Carol Pop Szathmári.
